I was part of the engraving team selected to execute permanent stone work for the LeFrak Center at Lakeside in Prospect Park, New York.
The project required precision stone engraving that would endure public exposure, weather, and time, a responsibility entrusted only to experienced craftsmen.

The scope of work focused on granite stone wall engravings, including:

  • The Donor Recognition Wall, featuring engraved names in granite
  • The main identification sign for The LeFrak Center
  • The official inscription for The Samuel J. & Ethel LeFrak Center

All engraving and surface finishing were completed using hand engraving and sandblasting, ensuring permanence, clarity, and uniformity across the entire installation.
The final work became an integrated architectural element of the park designed to withstand decades of public interaction while preserving the dignity and legacy of the names and institution it represents.
